Angola: providing for rebel-countering development

Angolan finance minister Archer Mangueira stated March 14 the World Bank will provide a $1 billion loan to the country to finance socio-economic and development projects. The $1 billion loan, along with a previously-approved World Bank $500 million loan, will be disbursed over the next three years.
