Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is visiting the Delta State capital of Warri on March 4. Buhari’s visit, coming in between his recent reelection as Nigerian president and the country’s upcoming state governorship and state assembly elections, is to ensure an accommodative accord between his federal government and state governments in the oil and gas producing Niger Delta region, no matter partisan preferences whose oppositional rhetoric may be adverse.
