Senegal: asserting petroleum accountability

Senegal’s national assembly approved January 24 the government’s new Petroleum Code. The adoption, as it occurs one month before the country holds presidential, regional and municipal elections, asserts accountability and transparency into the development of the country’s promising oil and gas sector.
