Summary Zimbabwe’s Constitutional Court confirmed Emmerson Mnangagwa the victor in the country’s July 30 presidential election. Mnangagwa’s next job, following his inauguration on August 26, will be to cooperate with and regain the confidence of his domestic civilian constituents so as to restore foreign investor confidence. Analysis As forecast, Zimbabwe’s Constitutional Court ruled August 24 that the results of the country’s July 30 president election are valid.
